Owner / Landscaper
I was interested in Horticulture from an early age. In my school holidays I would help neighbours to look after their gardens and was responsible for some of the landscaping which forms the Marina at Fleetwood. I learned to appreciate the varied colours and shapes of plants. To me there was no other option after completing my schooling.
I took the First Diploma Course (General Horticulture) which led onto a BTEC National Diploma in Landscape Practice. I completed this with credit. During this time I worked at a local garden center. Also in 1994 I worked in London maintaining theBelgravia and Mayfair estates for the Duke of Westminster. I also designed and built a scheme for a garden in Eaton Square.
At the age of 20 I set up a Landscape Practice, in the summer of 1995. I have enjoyed the variety of work in this time, however I wanted to provide a more comprehensive service. I have found that the collaboration between myself and Mark has helped provide practical solutions and improved illustrative communication with clients.
Stephen is a member of the Royal Horticultural Society and the Federation of Small Businesses.

Garden Designer / Horticulturist
My interest in plants began when I used to help my Grandad maintain his vegetable plot; it wasn’t long before this interest turned into a passion. I realised that a career in Horticulture was for me. I decided to attend Horticultural College to study for a National Diploma.
During this time I became familiar with different aspects of the trade which included, maintaining Parks, working in Nurseries and Garden Centers. It gave me the opportunity to study plants and take notice of how they worked together.
I began to work with a Landscaper and decided that it was Garden Design that I wished to specialise in. A few years later I achieved a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Garden Design.
Since working with Stephen, good workmanship has been guaranteed, and as a result I have experienced more freedom throughout my designs. This is due to the fact that all features are well built to a professional standard.
Landscape Assistant
Paul has been involved with IT for many years, Hewlett Packard more recently. He lead a team for much of his time and worked on providing solutions for his clients. In his spare time he enjoys playing football and he takes an active part in helping the area scouting movement.
Paul enjoys the outdoor life, working in gardens and is a methodical and reliable assistant. He brings with him a different way of looking at any job and certainly isn’t averse to a little rain! He is good with customers and enjoys conversing. He has a friendly “can do” attitude which is certainly valued!
